The FuzziBunz one size diaper colors are so awesome they are almost worth the price by themselves! The new spearmint color is so cute, especially with the kumquat and chocotruffle colors. Of course, if a diaper doesn’t work, the color is irrelevant. The good news is, FuzziBunz one size diapers are very absorbent and easy to use. They do run a bit small – so if your child gets bigger than average – they may outgrow the FuzziBunz one size at the top of the scale.
The FuzziBunz one size diaper fit my little one well as a newborn. These days she is 32 pounds, but big in the hips and thighs, so she has outgrown several one size cloth diapers. Unfortunately, she has outgrown the FuzziBunz one size – we love the large Perfect Size diapers fit though! For most babies and toddlers, the FuzziBunz one size diaper will be a perfect fit through potty training.
The elastic is easy to adjust, but would be a hassle if you had more than one child in diapers at the same time. So long as you only have one baby in diapers, or have two that same size, then the elastic adjustment is great. Some parents don’t like the rise adjustment snaps on the front of many one size cloth diapers, others find the snap adjustments rub on baby’s legs. You only need to adjust the sizing as your baby grows, so you can get the exact fit you need every time. The waist and legs are both adjustable. This is just the thing for skinny babies or babies who have totally different fitting needs in the waist and legs. So, your skinny kid with big thighs or chunky baby with thin legs can both find the best fit with FuzziBunz one size.
The extra elastic is a nice touch as well. Chances are you’ll never need it. But, if you do, it is nice to be able to just button in new elastic without any hassle.
The inserts are nice and absorbent. There are two, so you can use one or both as needed. FuzziBunz also makes hemp inserts for overnight or heavy wetters. Hemp is a mainstay around our house, so I love being able to get hemp inserts for any diaper.
The inner fleece is very soft. It does pill slightly, as most microfleece does. However, it remains soft wash after wash.
All in all, I’d recommend the FuzziBunz one size diaper as long as your baby or toddler is average or smaller in size. Of course, you can’t always tell that in advance – but if they do happen to outgrow this one size diaper before potty training, the large perfect size diapers are perfect solution.
